Zen is an all-in-one instrument for sketching and finishing tracks. Every sound is built from four layers (partials), and each layer has its own oscillator: virtual analogue, PCM-style, FM, modal or a string model. That gives you pianos, electric pianos, organs, strings, brass sections, pads, leads, basses and bells in a single plug-in. All the sounds are synthesised — Zen doesn't use recorded samples, so it takes little space and is ready to play straight away. Over 130 presets are a starting point: mute, retune and filter any layer your way.
