Transient changes the hit and the tail of a sound with no threshold to set — it works the same on a quiet and a loud loop. Attack punches up or softens the hit of a kick, snare or pluck, and Sustain lengthens the room tail or cuts it bone-dry. Speed sets how long the "attack" is, Length how long the tail is, and Focus lets the detector react only to a chosen band, e.g. just the kick in a loop. Clip gently catches peaks after boosting, and Delta lets you hear only the change. The display shows the waveform and a gain-change lane: purple where the plug-in boosts, red where it cuts.
