Night Drone — Away (chords)
166 BPM · B
TextureCloud creates the backgrounds that fill a track: dark drones under the intro, choir mist under the chorus, rain, wind and glass for transitions. The sound comes from a cloud of tiny grains — up to 64 at once — cut from six built-in sources: Air, Drone, Rain, Wind, Glass and Choir. All of them are synthesized, no samples.
The key you play sets the pitch, and every held note adds another layer — a chord turns into a living wash. Density sets how many grains appear per second, Grain Size how long they are, and Pitch Spread scatters them up and down: freely, in octaves or in fifths, so the cloud always stays in key. Reverse flips some of the grains, Motion adds slow movement in panning, filter and pitch, and Mix dissolves everything in a dense space.
Free Run keeps the texture playing without any notes — perfect as a bed for recordings and ambient. The display shows every grain live: where it sits in the stereo field, how high it plays and how long it lasts.
