Away — riser into the drop
166 BPM · B
RiserMachine creates the build-ups you would normally dig for in sample packs. Place one note before the drop, pick a length — 1, 2, 4, 8 or 16 bars — and the riser follows your project tempo, so it ends exactly on the downbeat of the drop. Turn sync off to set the length in seconds.
As it builds, a supersaw and noise climb from Start Pitch to End Pitch, the filter opens, the stereo image widens, the reverb grows and the level rises out of silence. Tension decides whether the riser climbs evenly or lurks and explodes at the very end. Pulse adds a gate that speeds up from quarter notes to 1/32 — like a snare roll before the drop.
Filter Rise and Fade work both ways, so the same plugin also makes downlifters and post-drop falls. When the riser ends, the reverb tail stays — a ready-made wash under the first hit. The display shows the build curve, pitch, filter and a playhead that moves with your song.
