Reverse

Vocal (female hook)

135 BPM · F♯

Switch while it plays — both versions stay in sync. Shortcut: B.

Reverse does the classic studio trick for you: reverse the vocal, add reverb, print it, reverse it back and slide it in front of the word. The plugin detects the starts of phrases or single words, computes a true reverse reverb of that exact part and times the swell so its peak lands right where the word begins. Built for trap, drill, rap and melodic rap — from a dark pre-verb in the verse to a cinematic 4-bar transition into the hook. To be heard BEFORE the vocal, Reverse listens ahead (Anticipation 0.5–8 s) and reports that latency to your DAW — FL Studio, Ableton, Logic and Reaper compensate it automatically, so the vocal stays exactly where it was. For tracking there is a zero-latency Live mode: the swell starts with the word and peaks after the set length. Triggering: automatic (phrase after silence or every word), MIDI notes, or the Fire button, which you can also automate on the timeline. Tempo-synced swell length (1/4, 1/2, 1, 2, 4 bars), Size, Decay, Drift, Pre-Delay and Source shape the reverb, Transition crossfades the peak into the word and Duck tucks the effect away while the vocal sings. Plus Low Cut and High Cut for the effect only, Width, Chorus and a subtle tempo-synced Tremolo. The display shows a timeline with a playhead and a lookahead zone — you see upcoming phrases and planned swells before you hear them. Audition replays the last word with its swell using the current settings, and Monitor Dry compares against the loudness-matched dry track.
