Switch while it plays — both versions stay in sync. Shortcut: B.

DP Pitch shifts the pitch and formants of a voice in real time — from the slightly lowered, “pitched” trap vocal, through chipmunk and demonic bass, to changing the character without changing the pitch: a female, male, child or giant voice. Two big knobs in the centre: Pitch (±12 semitones, plus Fine in cents) and Formant (±12 semitones, independent of pitch). Link ties the formants to the pitch, like tape slowed down or sped up. Two engines. Voice (PSOLA locked to the detected pitch) is made for vocals and single voices — it sounds the cleanest, consonants pass through without any buzz, and at neutral settings the signal comes out bit-identical. Poly (spectral, with spectral-envelope preservation) handles chords, instruments and full beats — without the “warble” typical of phase vocoders. Modes: Transpose, Quantize (hard snap to a scale with Glide) and Robot — a monotone on the note you choose, in the octave you are singing in. Drive adds warm saturation, and the constant-power Mix lets you layer the shifted voice (octave down, fifth) without losing level. The display shows the live input and output pitch on a note grid — with the shift area between them and the target note in Quantize and Robot modes — while a large VFD readout shows the current shift in semitones and cents, the formant shift and the input → output notes. The ~43 ms latency is reported to the DAW and compensated automatically.
