Omen is an instrument for dark beats: 50 one-shots inside a single plug-in — 10 each of bells, keys, plucks, pads and leads, made for trap, drill and dark hip-hop. Pick a sound in the categorised browser, flip through with the arrows and see its waveform on the glowing display right away. Every sound has a measured pitch, so it plays chromatically and in tune across the whole keyboard — a key is the real note, and a dot on the keyboard marks the recording's original pitch. Repitching uses high-quality, alias-free interpolation. Poly handles chords, while Mono and Legato with glide take care of melodies and slides. Four macros change the character in one move: DARK darkens, GRIT adds dirt, SPACE opens a dark reverb, and DRIFT makes the pitch wobble like a worn tape. On top: an ADSR envelope, a filter with its own envelope, the playback start (drag the marker on the waveform), reverse, stereo width and 9 effects at the end of the chain. The sounds are built into the plug-in — no files to copy and no library to install.
