Ivory puts the keys you reach for in every beat in one place: a concert grand, an upright, tine and reed electric pianos, a CP-70-style electric grand, clavinet, harpsichord, toy piano and celesta. Every instrument has character controls — brightness, hammer hardness, mechanical noise, detune and age — from a polished studio piano to a tired upright from the basement. The sounds come from modelling and synthesis, without gigabytes of samples.
