BeatRepeater X grabs a slice of sound and repeats it in time with your track — from heavy quarter notes to buzzing 1/64s. Every Interval (from 1/4 to 4 bars, shifted by Offset in 1/16 steps) a Gate window opens with the given Chance: the first slice plays live, then it comes back again and again until the window closes. That's how you make snare rolls before the drop, a stuttering last beat of the bar or chopped-up vocals.
Slice Size shortens every slice (gated stutter), Decay fades the repeats out, and Reverse Chance and Pitch Chance roll a reverse and a transposition by Pitch (±24 semitones) for every repeat. The dice depend on the position in the song, so it sounds the same on every playback. The Repeat button triggers repeats by hand — from the nearest grid line for as long as it's on.
The display shows the waveform over a two-bar window with the slice, repeats, reverses and pitch shifts marked, and the Gate windows above it — you can see where the next repeats will land. Every repeat has a short window at its edges and a new trigger crossfades with the previous one — no clicks.
