Gravity Reese — Brightside (bass)
165 BPM · B
BassGravity is a synth built for bass and nothing else. Pick a waveform — Saw, Square, Sine, Triangle or Reese (three detuned saws, with a Detune knob) — and add the sub oscillator an octave below so the low end stays full on any system.
At the heart of the sound is a 24 dB/oct ladder filter with resonance all the way to self-oscillation. Drive before the filter saturates the signal like an overdriven amp, and the filter envelope (bipolar Env Amount) plus Key Track turn it into plucks, acid lines, growls or warm, round subs.
The voice is monophonic: Legato glides between overlapping notes without a new attack, Mono hits every note again. Both envelopes are full ADSRs. The whole voice runs at 4× oversampling, so the top end stays clean even with sharp resonance and heavy Drive.
The screen shows an oscilloscope locked to the playing note and a filter response that moves with the envelope.
