Air brings the top end to life without harsh EQ. The exciter creates new harmonics only from the band above a chosen frequency: Tube gives warm even harmonics, Tape smooth odd ones, and Bright the most audible sheen. It runs at 4× oversampling, so harmonics don't fold back down and turn into grit. The Air shelf lifts just the "air" (6 to 22 kHz) cleanly, with no distortion — perfect for rap and R&B vocals. Solo lets you hear only the added harmonics. The analyser shows the spectrum before and after and the band the plug-in works on.
